Man in fatal motorcycle accident identified

A biker who died following injuries he sustained in a motorbike accident in St Elizabeth on Sunday has been identified.

He is 22-year-old Kenneth Robinson, a bike mechanic, of Good Hope in Santa Cruz, in the parish.

Robinson sustained fatal injuries after he and another biker collided. The mishap occurred shortly before 6 p.m.on the Myersville main road.

Reports are that two bikers were displaying their cycling skills at an illegal motorbike show, when they slammed into each other.

Both sustained injuries and were taken to hospital, Robinson later died.

The other injured biker remains in hospital.
