Stevie Face set for LIME Golf Academy |
|||||
Stevie Face - File It's been quite a while since reggae singer Stevie Face has performed on local soil. Fans of the smooth voice lover's rock crooner will get a chance to see him in action at the LIME Golf Academy on July 31. He is one of the acts billed to perform on the Musical Moments concert, which will be headlined by the legendary American soul group, The Stylistics. In a recent interview, Stevie Face said that he was looking forward to his upcoming performance. "It's been a while since I've performed locally. This kind of thing happens when you are constantly doing shows abroad, but I am more than ready to perform for my Jamaican fans. As a matter of fact, I plan to deliver a very entertaining and exciting performance for them at Musical Moments," he said. "It's quite an honour to have the opportunity to share the stage with the likes of The Stylistics, Jack Radics, and Gem Myers. All the acts on the line-up for Musical Moments are very good artistes, and I am sure the public is going to get a fantastic show." Stevie Face, whose real name is Anwar Hanchard, scored his first big hit in 2001 with the Philip Linton-produced single, I'm In Love. Since then, he has released several other hits including Tell It Like It Is, Thank You For Loving Me, Can't Go Round It, Coming Home For Love, and I Wanna Wake Up With You. |
