![]() Naazir Downsound recording artiste Naazir is determined to climb all the way to the top of the musical ladder. The Westmoreland-born singjay confidently believes he has what it takes to be one of dancehall's next big stars. "I know I am going to be a big star in dancehall music. I have the talent, I'm young, I am intelligent, and I have the right team to guide me. All I have to do is continue to work hard and my success is sure," said the artiste. Although Naazir is young, he is very level-headed and is keen on sending the right message to the masses through his music. "I'm bringing something different to the business. I'm original and I sing about things that I've experienced - real topics. I'm for the people, like Bob Marley. I sing reality. Music can be about a lot of different things, so I am singing what I know about. I don't sing about riches and fame. I'm realistic. I haven't experienced those things as yet. I keep it real and sing about the things I know about. When the people hear my music, they can tell it is real and it is from the heart, and there's also a lot of passion in my music, too," he said. According to his manager, Joe Bogdanovich, Naazir has all the right qualities to make it all the way to the top. "I really believe in this kid. He's very talented, he has good work ethics, and I think he can go all the way to the top. This is one of the reasons why Downsound is such a great force in the industry. We know talent and we know to develop it, and that's what we are doing right now with Naazir and all the other talented young people we are working with," said Bogdanovich. new singles Naazir is currently promoting several new singles, including Wine Fi Yuh Man, which was produced by Andrew Blacks of UIM Records; Tan Up An A Watch, which was produced by West Indies cricket star, Chris Gayle; and Love, on the Downsound label. "I have a number of new singles right now and we are working hard to get the public familiar with them, so it's non-stop work right now as we promote these new songs. So far, I am getting a lot of positive feedback about them," said Naazir. Also on the cards for Naazir is the release of the supporting music video for Wine Fi Yuh Man. "I'm also looking forward to the release of the video for Wine Fi Yuh Man. We shot it about two weeks ago and it is currently being distributed to TV stations, so the fans can look out for it," he shared. |
