An Ananda Alert has been activated for 15-year-old Monique Turner - a ward of the State - of Cedar Grove, Mandeville, who has been missing since Thursday, July 4.

She is of brown complexion, medium build, and about 143 centimetres (4 feet 8 inches) tall.

Reports received from the Williamsfield police are that Monique was seen about 8 p.m. at the Windsor Lodge Children's Home. She has not been seen or heard from since. Her mode of dress at the time she went missing is unknown.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Monique Turner is being asked to contact the Williamsfield police at 962-2250, the Police 119 emergency number, or the nearest police station.
