Police from the St Elizabeth Highway Patrol have seized 128 pounds (58.18 kilograms) of compressed ganja after it was discovered in a motor vehicle along Slipe Road in St Elizabeth on Sunday night.

Reports are that the police were conducting stop and search activities around 11:30 p.m. when a Toyota motor vehicle was intercepted. It is reported that three men fled from the car leaving the ganja behind.

Investigations continue.
