Fast-rising reggae artiste Hefla Nyah recently formalised his working relationship with Philadelphia-based 619 Entertainment Group by signing a three year management contract with the company.

Hefla Nyah has been working with 619 Entertainment for some time now. The company released his successful debut single Take You There in 2011 through VP Records online distribution arm VPAL. The single, which was supported by a good music video that was directed by Nordia Rose and steady airplay, climbed all the way to number one on the Jamaica Music countdown Top 25 Reggae Charts by the spring of 2012.

In a short time, a close bond developed between Hefla Nyah and the 619 Entertainment Group. The relationship continues to grow and the company's representatives, who are impressed by the artiste's rapid development and serious work ethic, have been doing a lot to push him in reggae markets worldwide. This has resulted in constant promotion via the media and other avenues of exposure. They have also secured bookings for him on a number of major events. To date, Hefla Nyah has opened for the likes of Richie Spice, Beres Hammond and the legendary reggae singer, Jimmy Cliff.

Since the release of Take You There, Hefla Nyah has grown from strength to strength under the guidance of the 619 Entertainment Group. He has continued to maintain a strong presence on the reggae charts with a number of good songs such as Facebook Girls, Lose Control featuring Natural Black and his second number one, Lies & Tricks, a collaboration with Lutan Fyah. He is currently working towards the completion of his debut album which is titled The Truth.

In a recent interview Hefla Nyah said that he feels truly blessed to be working with the 619 Entertainment group.

"There are not enough words to express how joyful it is to have a team that believes in me, it's truly a blessing to be working with such a highly dedicated and professional organisation," he said.

According to Roger Grant, one of the company's directors, he believes Hefla Nyah has the right attitude and other good attributes that will ensure that he goes on to be a great success.

"I have worked with a lot of artistes over the years, but Hefla is different from a lot of them, he has the talent, a great attitude and a solid work ethic, and that's what you want to see in a young artiste, I believe he's destined for great things," said Grant.
