Star Tell Me Pastor

His woman comes first

Dear Pastor,

I have been dating this guy for the last two years and things have been great. He lives in New York and I live here in Jamaica. He treats me well, but he is not single. He has a girlfriend over there, but he comes to Jamaica as often as possible. We used to talk every day on the phone. We send pictures back and forth and I know he loves me and I love him.

But from this last month, things have changed and we hardly talk. He said that I am the one who has the minutes on my phone so I must call him and he can't bother to talk on the phone all the time and every time. I asked him if he is seeing someone else and he said no. I asked him if he wants to leave and he said no. so I told him that it was over between us. He still texts me and tells me that he is never going to turn his back on me. I am doing an extension to my house and he has promised to help me. He said he did not tell me that the relationship is over, I am the one who told him so.

The other problem is that, every time we argue, he keeps telling me he was going to leave his girl for me. Pastor, please tell me what to do. God bless you, pastor.

S.

Dear S.,

You are in this relationship with a man who doesn't care much about you. You have shown too much interest in him and you are behaving as if he is totally free. You should always bear in mind that he has his woman in America and she comes first. He might tell you that he is going to leave his woman for you, but probably he is saying that because he knows that's what you would like to hear.

He may or may not keep his promise in helping you to build your house. I suggest that you think about a future without this man.

Pastor
