Why do women go through hell HOPING that it will lead dem to 'Heaven', when dem well know, 'Hell' is where the journey stops?! U kno seh sum ah unnu wikid to unnuself tho! BAD!

Before I proceed to dive into this article, let me first provide clarity on my definitions of Heaven and Hell.

Hell is a situation where people exist in an unhappy space for a lengthy time. Everyone has to go through bad relationships/situations but some people live deh! Dem whaa cum out but dem nuh kno how fi cum out, dem fraid fi cum out or dem become so comfortable being in that unhappy space dat dem cyaa badda fi cum out!

Heaven is a situation that may be far from perfect but essentially you are happy. On a difficult day the challenges seem worth while because the situation is worth it!

Based on my dialogue with various women, let us now explore an often perceived definition of Heaven. To many females, their definition of Heaven is marriage, as they are willing to heng on di bus ride to Hell in hopes or belief that 'Heaven' will be their final destination.

Why is happiness many times measured by a marriage proposal? Why do women put themselves through hell believing that this journey will take them down the aisle when they know from the get-go di man nuh whaaa marry?!

Mek mi tell yu sumn, you determine your journey! You determine di destination of your bus ride! Mi naaah wait pan a soul fi define my Heaven through hopes of 'upgrading' our relationship status wid di title husband and wife!

Really?! Yuh eva realise that many times a woman has to prove that she is wife material more than a man has to prove that he is husband material? Why is that? Why sum a wi suh frighten? Especially frighten fi tings dat naah guh nuh weh?!

Mek mi tell yu a likkle secret. Women have a tendency to know if a man is truly interested in marriage and secondly, interested in marrying her. A man usually, from first glance and conversation, knows what category to place a woman in from him meet har!

Whether is a one-night stand, booty call, friendship, matey or wifey. Believe me, wen mi tell yu dis there is no guarantee that going through 'Hell' with someone will eventually lead to 'Heaven'!
