Wisynco off the mark in KSA Business House

A double strike from Norman Bailey in the 56th and 81st minutes lifted Wisynco to a 4-1 win over National Commercial Bank (NCB) in division one of the 2013 Western Sports-sponsored Kingston and St Andrew (KSA) Business House football competition last Saturday at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex in Arnett Gardens, St Andrew.

The win was Wisynco's first of the season. The other scorers were Garfield Francis and Girvon Brown. Troy Ellington scored the consolation for NCB.

In other division one matches, Norman Manley International Airport clipped UWI 1-0 with a goal from Sean Nelson. Rasheed Clarke scored a brace in Jamaica Customs' 2-1 victory over former champions Grace Kennedy at the Edward Seaga Sports Complex. Damian Rankine scored for Grace Kennedy. In the lone division two match played on Saturday, Red Stripe recorded their second victory of the season , when they beat Xerox 1-0 with Norado Brown scoring in the 68th minute.

In other matches played last week, defending champions Petrojam regained the lead in division one after they defeated The Gleaner 3-1 last Wednesday at Winchester Park. Kamalee Brissett, Andrew Palmer and Jarron Richards scored for Petrojam while Fabian Netersole got the consolation goal for The Gleaner.

In the lone division two game played at the same venue last Tuesday, first time entrant Metrodade Protection & Security clipped Bank of Jamaica 1-0. Christopher Haynes was on target for Metrodade who moved to the top of division two with nine points from three games. JUTC are second on eight points from four matches and Xerox, third with seven points.
