Do all men cheat? |
Dear Pastor,
I have a concern and it may seem silly to ask such a question but I am wondering if every man is a cheater. It is as if most women, even myself, is conditioned to believe that and I just don't want to believe that. I am 21 and saving myself for a good man (my husband) and to think that he might cheat one day is nerve wrecking. Even though, I just don't believe in what some women say about men. Some may be wicked but I don't believe they all are. Another thing I would like to ask is, what are some red flags in dating that women are supposed to look out for? I am in the military so I have a career and now hoping to settle down. I always pray and ask God for a good man but sometimes God shows women signs and we never take heed. Please give me your fatherly advice. H. Dear H., It is not true. All men are not cheaters. Some men cheat, but some don't. Some women cheat, but some don't. What is true, however, is that women are smarter cheaters. And women brag and say that men are fools for trying to watch them. If you have a boyfriend and you are planning to get married, don't allow other women to discourage you. Don't believe every negative thing that is said about men. Trust the Lord for a good and happy relationship with your man. You shouldn't even be thinking about looking out for red flags to find out whether or not your man is cheating. Before you get married, your fiancé and yourself should attend pre-marital counselling and all your concerns should be addressed. My prayers are with you. May God bless you. Pastor |
