Akeem Smith rammed home the ball from point blank range in the final minute of extra-time to give his team a deserved victory. He made up for his earlier misses during regulation time, and when he scored, the Cumberland bench and supporters erupted with sheer joy. At the end of the match, Paul Parkes, treasurer of the Portmore Football League, handed over the winning trophy to a jubilant Cumberland side. |
