Reggae artiste Iestro is determined to make his mark on the local music scene. He's a firm believer in hard work and is totally dedicated to his craft.

"From the time I was a little boy, I was taught that hard work and dedication were vital to achieving great success, so I'm always working hard in order to achieve my goals," said the artiste.

Music videos

Iestro recently wrapped up the shooting of music videos for three singles - Nah Ease Up, When the World Turns and Story Of My Life.

The videos were filmed under the direction of Global Appeal Concepts CEO, Karl Durrant, across several locations including downtown Kingston, New Kingston, Half-Way Tree and Waterhouse. Iestro and the video crew also ventured as far as St Mary to capture the scenes of the beautiful countryside for Nah Ease Up.

"We just finished shooting three videos. It was a lot of hard work, we travelled all over Kingston and we also went to St Mary to shoot these videos, and I'm confident that the fans are going to love them. All three videos, have very creative concepts and carry the storylines that represent the songs well."

Editing process

The videos are being edited to be released before the end of the month.

"All three videos are currently in the editing process and they should be ready for release before the end of June and I'm really excited, I can't wait to see the final cuts. The whole team put a lot of time and energy into the shooting of these videos so we expect some very good results, said Iestro.

According to 5 Stars Recording Inc CEO Clifton Lawrence, he and his company plan to go the extra mile to ensure that Iestro becomes a household name in the reggae music marketplace, hence the decision to shoot and release three music videos for the artiste simultaneously.

"We believe in Iestro's potential as a serious reggae artiste 100%. We know he has the talent to go all the way to the top of the music industry, therefore, we are doing everything in our powers to make it happen. We intend to use these three videos to promote him strongly in the local market as well as overseas."

Also on the cards for Iestro, is a hectic promotional schedule, which will have him doing a number of interviews on radio and TV over the next two weeks before he leaves the island for the US, to do a monthlong promotional stint.
