|||||
![]() Miss Kitty - File The well anticipated Container Female Promoters Selecting Competition is slated to begin on Saturday at Gee Wee Car Park, located at 1A Caledonia Avenue, Cross Roads. After weeks of planning and preparation, the Container family says all is in place for an entertaining and wonderful event. Promoter Ian Miles, known in the streets as the 'Container Boss', says all the contestants are excited and ready to face off in a competitive, but mature manner. The competition will begin at 11 p.m., with two clashes, Pouchie Strawberry vs Shaniece Miss Boss, and Chin aka Lady Davia vs Stacy Royal. They'll face off in two segments each. Segment one will consist of eight minutes of juggling each and segment two will consist of five songs each. If each contestant wins a segment, there will be a third segment with one song each, with the winner advancing and the loser going home. Expectations are high Miles says based on the pre-match talks he carried out on Tuesday with the four contestants, this will be a clash no one wants to miss. All four contestants are convinced they would be the winner so the expectations are high, along with the huge buzz that the competition is creating in the streets. He said two of the judges confirmed for Saturday's clashes are Kool Face, and Miss Kitty, the 'Fluffy Diva', with a third judge to be named shortly. Music will be provided by Goddess Intl., and The Uncontainables. Females are free all night, while men will be asked to pay $300 after 11 p.m. The gate will open from 8 p.m., and the party will end at 2 a.m. Grand prize is a Container trophy plus $100,000 inclusive of cash and prizes, while second place will receive $50,000 worth of cash and prizes. Third and fourth place finishers will receive a Container trophy and prizes. "I want to thank Tall Man from Flava Unit for the brilliant idea, and all sponsors of this wonderful competition. It ago uncontainable this Saturday," Miles said.
