Members of the area three Transnational Crime and Narcotics Division seized several hundred pounds of ganja in Vineyard district, St Elizabeth, on Thursday.

No one was arrested in connection with the seizure.

According to the police report, the drug was discovered in a hut during an early-morning raid in the community.

The ganja, which weighs approximately 300 pounds (136.6 kilograms), has an estimated street value of $1.5 million. Investigations continue.
