Fast-rising dancehall artiste Surgikal is feeling extremely optimistic about his latest single titled Come Fi Di Wata.

The song which was released on the Social Yaad label, is a joint-venture production between Surgikal and Social Yaad Media.

"I have a new single titled Come Fi Di Wata. I produced it in association with Social Yaad Media. One morning, I was in a restaurant just chilling after having a meal and the idea came to me to do a summer song. As I thought about the song, I asked myself, what's the one thing that people always need when the time is hot? And right there I knew the song had to be about water," said the artiste.

According to Surgikal, Come Fi Di Wata is currently creating quite a buzz on the party scene.

"Right now, my song is doing well, it's getting a lot of forwards at the parties. Last Monday, I was at a popular weekly event in Kingston and, when the selector played it, all the girls went wild. He had to pull it up over and over. The vibes was crazy," he said.

In order to boost the popularity of Come Fi Di Wata, Surgikal plans to shoot a music video for the song early next month.

"Social Yaad Media is going to film the video for the tune next month. We plan to shoot and edit so we can put it out before the end of June," said Surgikal.
