Can a mother be too sexy? |
|||||
This past Sunday, we celebrated Mothers' Day, and first, let me take the time to big up all the mothers and acting mothers. This is an important and thankless job, and I just want to say on behalf of every child who ever felt a mother's love, THANK YOU. When you look at your mother, do you think sexy? I know many persons are unable to think of their mothers in a sexual way, but the fact is, she had to have sex so that you could exist. When we look at the traditional image of a mother, she is a matronly figure who is very conservative in her appearance and she is a homemaker, so she doesn't spend a lot of time and money on her appearance. With that said, let's take a look at Moms in 2013. They are stylish, sexy, and fabulous, and certainly not very matronly. As a matter of fact, the top-5 list of sexiest moms in Hollywood are: 5. Sandra Bullock; 4. Angelina Jolie; 3. Halle Berry; 2. Gwen Stefani; 1. Jennifer Lopez. But how sexy is too sexy once a woman becomes a mother? Even though times have changed and mothers are not spending their days in the kitchen and on the farm, there are still some traditional expectations placed on modern mothers. Modern mothers are sexual, active, and most of them are working outside the home. However, they are still expected to try and fit into the mold of the traditional mother. You still hear comments like, "You still wearing that skirt? You forget you are a mother now?" Or, "What you doing at this party. where's the baby?" being made to young mothers. I have often heard men complain that once their women become a mothers, they show very little interest in being sexual with them again. This is not unexpected, but it can be managed. One of the most important things to remember is that motherhood does not make all the other functions in a woman's life obsolete. She is still a wife, sister, friend, and she still has the career she had before she had the baby. So what are the things that she should stop doing once she becomes Mom? Personally, I think that the image of the mother has evolved. I recognise that Mama needs love, too, so I have no issues with her being sexual or expressing herself in that light. On the other hand, I also recognise that many adults cannot come to grips with the thought of their mothers being sexual in any way. So much so, it seems they forget that Mom is a human being with desires. She gets aroused, she enjoys orgasms, and she wants to feel sexy, too. To those persons I say, if your mother didn't have sex, you would not be here, so get over it! Stay sexy!
