I recently got married and I am having a hard time with my husband's former lover. Both of them were engaged to be married. But during the engagement, my husband caught her having sex with another man and he broke off the engagement. She tried to tell him that the guy raped her, but she was lying. My husband grabbed her cell phone and went through it and saw the text messages that the guy sent her. And he spoke to the guy and the guy admitted that they were friends. And he apologised to my husband.

Now this woman won't leave my husband alone. Sometimes we are in bed and she is calling him. We got married privately because she had threatened to disrupt our marriage ceremony. Is there anything I can do to stop this woman from harassing us? Please give me your best answer.

Encourage your husband to go to someone that this woman respects to talk to her. They were lovers so he would know some of her family members. He should tell her what she plans to do. If her father and your husband get along well, he should consider asking him. Of course, she might not have told them why the relationship has ended. But whether so or not, he should inform her of what he is going to do if she continues to harass him.

He could also take out a restraining order against her and should tell her so before it is done. I hope that good sense will prevail. This young woman evidently loves your man, but she blew the opportunity she had for a good life.
