Sassy Silva, Wee Pow escape death

Both involved in separate car accidents

Winner of this year's Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall Sassy Sliva, and Stone Love owner Wee Pow were both involved in separate but serious motor vehicle accidents this week.

Sassy Silva, who became a millionaire two weeks ago, is planning to record a gospel song, giving thanks to God for sparing her life, and allowing her to escape with minor injuries.

She told THE WEEKEND STAR "I was driving along with a friend pass Vineyard Toll and the car was driving neatly, then, all of a sudden the car start spin wid us. We weren't even going hard and the car spin bout five times slamming us from side to side until we collided with the crash bars," she said.

Staring death in the face

According to the deejay, she was not wearing her seat belt, but as she braced herself for the impact, she was staring death in the face.

"I was looking at death, mi nuh know how wi live, a God himself save wi. People a sey look how mi just get di crown and cudda dead suh," she said.

The Magnum Queen says her car will cost an estimated $150,000 to be repaired, she also disclosed that she is afraid to travel because of the psychological trauma caused by the accident.

On Monday night, Stone Love's strongman Fada Pow met a similar fate while travelling in the Waterhouse area. Unlike Sassy Silver, Fada Pow received injuries of a more serious nature, and was reportedly still in the hospital yesterday.

According Fada Pow's receptionist at the Stone Love headquarters, the veteran selector is suffering from a fractured leg.

"He is going on strong, he got a fractured leg. We are currently sorting things out so that he can come out and rest. He has the support of his family. Here at the Stone Love HQ is business as usual, everybody has been showing support and sympathy, and he has received several get-well greetings," the receptionist said.

Sassy Sliva is expected to release exclusive singles like Prayerand Buss and Sicka Dan Dat.
