The media professionals have been told that if those questions are asked, they risk being removed from the event, which is now in its second year.

In its official media guidelines, organisers of the meet also suggested a list of questions the media could ask the powerful Jamaican, who is the world record holder in the 100m and 200m, as well as other competitors at a press conference scheduled for today.

"Please note, all media is to refrain from asking Usain Bolt about his injury and why he pulled out of the Jamaica Invitational. Also, there will be no mention of Yohan Blake in any capacity. Failure to adhere to these rules will result in media being removed from the press conference or event," read the advisory from the organisers.

Suggested questions for athletes ranged from 'How important are your fans?'; 'Who is your biggest supporter?'; 'What event is next on your circuit?'; to 'How important do you think a meet like the Cayman Invitational is to a small country like the Cayman Islands?'

In an unprecedented move, organisers of the meet have also placed an accreditation fee for media outlets covering the meet, which is being staged at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex.
