Businessman and alleged leader of the Rose Town-based 'Discipline gang', Uriel 'Rooksie' James, was ordered to be released by Resident Magistrate (RM) Judith Pusey when he appeared before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday. James was charged with breaching his bail condition. James, who is currently facing murder charges, was taken into custody last month after he was accused of breaching a condition of his bail that prohibited him from visiting the community of Rose Town in Kingston. RM Pusey also stated that she was not satisfied with the evidence of an officer who said that he had seen James at a wake in the community on March 2. She also criticised the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, stating that the office did not put in evidence the bail bond that they said was breached by James. |
