Nature's revolution No.1 on hit list |
|||||
Nature Downsound Records' reggae sensation Nature has peaked at Number One on the popular CVM TV Hit List music countdown chart with his latest hit 'Revolution'. The single, produced by Scatta Burrell and marketed by Contractor's Marketing, boasts a rather inspiring music video, which is directed by the label's CEO Joseph Bogdanovich who operates under the name Mr. B while being a video director. It has caught the eyes of many so far and, as such, been consistently climbing most of the established charts since its release. Revolution's rise to the top has also come at a good time for Downsound Records, as Nature's label mates Ninja Man and Specialist are also currently enjoying the top spot on Hit List's dancehall charts with their song Dweet. The humble-going Nature, who has also impressed with World Peace and Trying Man, said he is very pleased to see his song getting fair justice. struggles "The song speaks of poor people's struggles. A lot of people have taken inspiration from it, so I am very pleased that the song is getting fair justice. The video is also excellent," Nature said. Meanwhile, since his rise to prominence over a year ago, Nature has appeared on numerous major stage shows. His most recent performance was last week on Hot 97's Who's Next concert in Manhattan, New York. The show was hosted by Bobby Konders and Jabba and featured other local artistes such as I- Octane, Chris Martin and Ding Dong. Nature also flew to South Carolina to perform with Wayne Wonder before coming back to Jamaica. Nature's next performance will be on the much-anticipated Mother's Day concert To Mom With Love, which also features popular R&B group The Manhattans, Rose Royce, John Holt, Karen Smith and more. The May 12 concert is being jointly organised by Downsound Records, Supreme and Golden Promotions, respectively. |
