Although he has been incarcerated for almost two years, Shawn 'Sivva' Storm maintains hope that he can restart his music career in the near future.

The artiste's management team released a new single, Summertime In Ja, last month which features deejay Blak Diamon and is produced by UIM Records. The song, Shawn Storm's first release in almost a year, is creating a huge buzz in the dancehall market.

The song is already generating airplay on all major radio stations islandwide.

'It's also being played in the US, Canada and the Caribbean, and it has over over 10,000 views on YouTube across several channels. The Gaza fans love the slang, 'girls fly innnnnn' while other producers have forgotten about Shawn Storm, producer Anju Blax didn't," Lisa Munro, publicist of the artiste, said.

The song had been recorded in 2011 but was never released until now.

"Anju Blaxx added Black Diamon to the song, and they plan to shoot a video in the second week of May. The video will be directed by Icey Jace, and hopefully, the project will be released by the end of May. With all the good feedback, Summertime In Ja might be the baddest the song for the summer 2013," Munro said.

Renowned producerAnjuBlaxxx of recording powerhouse UIM, endorsed the song. "This is going to be the hottest summer anthem this year, it has already been receiving positive reviews," AnjuBlaxxx said.

Shawn Storm is best known for the breakout hit single, My Life, in 2010. The deejay returns to court on Wednesday, May 27, but given the numerous delays in the trial over the last year, chances are he won't be getting out this summer.

Storm, whose real name is Shawn Campbell, was arrested in September 2011 in Kingston and slapped with murder charges relating to the death of Clive 'Lizard' Williams. He is charged jointly with Adidja 'Vybz Kartel' Palmer and three other co-accused for Williams' death.
