For the past six years, the month of May has been synonymous with what is arguably one of the most popular and most supported annually staged party series in Jamaica, May Daze.

The event, which started in May 2008, is now one of the most anticipated event each year. With interesting weekly themes, and a value for money party experience, through drink specials and a competitively priced admission fee, the event has consistently found its way on to the lips of avid partygoers as an event that just cannot be missed.

"As soon as people think May, they think May Daze. We have worked very hard to build the brand to be a household name by giving you the same party experience as any premium party at half the cost," said party promoter Stephen Willie.

May Daze's themes has always been a crowd favourite and this year will be no different. With a new theme titled 'Style Rave - The Fashion Addiction,' patrons will be asked to pay specific attention to being fashionable each week.

The five weekly themes this year will be, Black Friday, which is an all-black theme, Flirts in Shorts and Skirts, Plaid Play, Colour Blockin' and Fashion Forward. As usual, ladies who adhere to the themes enter free before 11 p.m.

One of the most interesting features highlighted by the promoters this year is the VIP Access Card. The card allows the cardholder plus one guest free admission to all five events, free secured parking plus free drink on entry.

The cardholder can go to any of the 25 May Daze participating stores and get up to 50 per cent discount on store items for the entire month of May.

May Daze will now also boast two Premium Lounges provided by Rough Rider Condoms and a Premium Cocktail Bar provided by A-Bar Restaurant and Lounge.

The series will take place at 15 West Kings House Road every Friday in the month of May.
