Rasbert Turner, Star Writer Three men charged with the murder of a Jamaica Defence Force private Leachim Whyte were again remanded when they appeared in the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday. Mario Dunn, 20, Paul Thompson, 21, and 25-year-old Geneva Bryan all of Greendale, St Catherine, are before the courts on a charge of murder. When the matter was mentioned, Resident Magistrate Simone Wolfe-Reece ordered that they reappear on May 21. Allegations are that on December 23, Whyte went to visit a friend in New Nursery, Twickenham Park, St Catherine. He was reportedly attacked, killed and his body buried in a shallow grave. Investigations by the police resulted in the three accused being charged with murder. |
