|||||
Jah Currant - Contributed photos Fast-rising reggae artiste Jah Currant is confident that he is on the verge of a musical breakthrough. "Things are looking really good for my career right now; my manager, Morland Williams, is really doing a good job. He's doing everything to push my career all the way to the top." The gregarious singjay is currently enjoying much attention with his single titled Daddy Now. His performance of the song at a recently held IRIE FM roadshow in Morrant Bay, St Thomas, earned him huge forwards from the very large crowd that turned out for the event. "It was a very good vibe performing on the IRIE FM road show. The crowd went wild when I performed Daddy Now; they really loved the energy," said Jah Currant. Confident that he has found the right tune to take his career to the next level, Jah Currant and his manager are currently preparing to shoot the video for Daddy Now. The video will be shot at various locations across St Thomas during next month. "The next move is to shoot the video for Daddy Now and we are putting everything in place for that right now. We want to shoot it and have it out before the end of next month. It's going to be something very good, and we want it to connect with music lovers all over the world, and this video will help us to do that," he said. Jah Currant is also working on a number of other projects, including a debut album that will be released later this year. "I'm also working hard in the studio to complete some new singles and some songs for my debut album. Once the album is completed it will be released worldwide before the end of the year. The whole Earth Storm team is doing everything to make sure that it will be a very good project." |
