Power of Faith won by three wickets. - Anthony Minott photos Power of Faith International (PFM Int'l) won their fifth Power of Faith Ministries Twenty20 Cricket title after they defeated Old Harbour New Testament by three wickets in the final at Lime Tree Oval last Saturday. Batting first, Old Harbour struggled to 92 all out in 16.5 overs as the league's top batsman Devoy Smith hit 28 and Ravmon Powell made 25. Terrence Francis was the pick of the bowlers for PFM Int'l as he bagged 3-18. Stephan Casey (2-16) and Jerriane Williams (2-20) also got among the wickets. In reply, PFM Int'l reached home at 93-7 with two balls to spare. Peat Salmon made 24, while useful knocks came via Aaron Daley 21, and spinner Stephan Casey, batting at number nine, made a well-played 19 not out to help steer home his team, alongside Williams who made a vital 11 not out. The pair came in with the innings in trouble with seven wickets down with 60 odd runs on the board. The organisers will shortly announce a date for the presentation of awards. Meanwhile, Gospel Light House led by a century knock of 101 by Ray Williams beat Portmore Gospel Assembly by 58 runs in the play-off for third place. Batting first, Gospel Light House made 171-7 and Portmore Gospel Assembly replied with 113-7.
