Farm supervisor gunned down

The St Thomas police say they are trying to arrive at a motive for the murder of a farm supervisor, who was gunned down at her home on Monday night.

THE STAR understands that 44-year-old Rosemarie Taylor was at her home in Shanty Town in the parish when she was reportedly called outside the house about 9:30 p.m. by men, who allegedly told her that her son was in police custody.

Police reports are that the gunmen then opened fire on Taylor who was hit several times.

THE STAR gathered that she was rushed to the nearby Princess Margaret Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

This gruesome killing has since sent shock waves throughout the community. The St Thomas police are investigating.
