Artistes rock Jungle Fyah Lounge

Johnny Lion performs

Veteran artiste Major Mackerel, real name, Garfield Dixon, brought patrons down memory lane during a performance at the Jungle Fyah Lounge in Bayside recently.

The deejay who first reigned as a top-class entertainer during the late 1980s and early 1990s, performed classics such as Pretty Looks Done, Dutty Bungle and Sorry Fe Botha, which went over well with patrons.

Major Mackerel was one of three star performers on the night, the others being Johnny P, who got huge forwards with his 1990s hit Bike Back, and Malibu with his hit tune Donna Maria.

Meanwhile, some of the artistes who graced the stage earlier were the duo Johnny Lion and I-First who got good receptions to their songs Want A Rich Woman and Hardest Time. Their performance had the audience in stitches.

Baby Vein, the sister of the late Baby Wayne, got some forwards when she pelted lyrics from some of her brother's songs.
