Kevin 'King' Lamey was the main architect behind Harbour View's heartbreak in the 2005-2006 season when his 22-goal tally saw Waterhouse overhaul a 13-point deficit to wrest the title from the Stars of the East. Now Jermaine 'Tuffy' Anderson is harbouring thoughts of inflicting similar pain, after scoring his 18th goal of the season on Sunday to give the Junior Francis-coached Waterhouse a 1-0 win over Harbour View, and in the process reduce their opponents lead atop the Red Stripe Premier League standing to eight points, with it having once stood at 12. "I respect Kevin Lamey for what he did for the club in the past, and I would like to do the same thing as him," Anderson told Star Sports following Sunday night's game. "My goal right now is to win the league, and I still believe we can win it." With seven rounds of games to be played, from which a maximum of 21 points can be derived, Harbour View lead the 12-team standing with 61 points, followed by Waterhouse on 53. "We have cut down the lead now to eight points, so we have to just go down to Tivoli next week Monday and get the three points there," Anderson said. "We can't lose or draw any match right now; we just have to stay on a winning note. We need to win at least six out of the remaining seven games and I think we can win the league." Anderson, who finished as the leading scorer last season with 14 goals, believes if he can manage in excess of 25 goals this term his team stands a good chance of claiming their third national league title. "It is not over yet, we have seven games left, so I have to remain focused and score some goals for my team," Anderson said. "I believe if I can reach 25 goals for the season I can win the competition for the team, because that is what my team needs, some goals. Francis also believes his team faces must win situations in all their remaining games. "Waterhouse have a chance and that is what matters to me," Francis said. "We will be going all-out for the remaining games; we want the title and we will be going for it." Harbour View's head coach, Vin Blaine, believes the onus is on Water-house to catch his team. "We are eight points ahead, so they (Waterhouse) have to come and catch us," Blaine said. "We have seven games left in the season, and they have to overtake our eight point lead."
