Rasbert Turner, Star Writer A pall of gloom now hangs over Mocho, Clarendon, where a primary-school student is suspected to have committed suicide. Dead is Kemar Ford, nine-year-old student of Ashly Primary School in Mocho. When the Star contacted relatives of the nine-year-old, they were still trying to come to grips with his untimely death. A senior family member said he believed the boy's death was caused by the type of shows he watched. His mother said that Ford was her only son and said she would find it impossible to live without him. Ford's body was found hanging from a piece of wire in a fowl coop. Police reports are that about 1 p.m., relatives stumbled upon Ford's body. The Mocho police are conducting further investigation into the matter. |
