The town of Negril will come alive this Easter weekend as the second staging of Charley's JB Great Escape Easter Party weekend unfolds.

According to Sean Greenfield, one of the chief organisers of the JB Great Escape weekend, party supporters from all over the island are looking forward to the event.

"We expect a lot of people from all over the country to attend this staging of the Great Escape. We have done a lot of advertising and marketing and the response has been very good so far and ticket sales are going great," said the promoter.

He also said that he and the other members of the Mastermind Entertainment Group have done everything possible to make sure that patrons attending the party weekend will get good value for their money.

"The Mastermind group has done everything possible to make this staging of the Great Escape unforgettable. Patrons attending our event will get good quality entertainment over the next four days. They will get an opportunity to experience seven great events this Easter weekend. The whole team is pulling out all the stops to make sure patrons have a great time."

The Charley's Great Escape 2013 will kick off on Good Friday (March 29) with the Negril Bacchanal at the Jungle nightclub. This event will feature former Byron Lee and the Dragonaires lead singer Oscar B from Trinidad and the newest singing sensation from Trinidad and Tobago, Masha Martin, who will grace the shores of Jamaica for the very first time.

Patrons will be treated to the hottest soca mixes by Dj Smoke (from Renaissance), DJ Crazy Neil the Soca Digital Wiz and DJ Troy.

On Saturday, March 30, patrons will experience Escape Jouvert (Mud, Paint, Power) at Jamaica Tamboo Hotel. This event will be hosted by Marsha Martin, DJ Crazy Neil, DJ Inferno, Aftashakk and DJ Rowe will keep the music pumping. The Jouvert begins at 2 p.m., and ends at 10 p.m.

After Jouvert, the action moves over to Bourbon Beach where Escapers will be invited to turn out wearing red, yellow or green according to their status for Stoplight Affair. This event will feature Renaissance, T-Bone and DJ Gemini and Macky.

On Sunday, March 31, it's back to Jamaica Tamboo with the entire family for Escape Family Fun Day which will feature bounce-a-bouts, water slides and live performances from Chuck Fender, Mixing Lab and many others.

Later on that same evening, the fun continues with the staging of Negril's premier beach party Soakin Wett - Soca Water Beach Party at Chances Beach. This event feature Renaissance disco, DJ Sani, DJ Troy and Jah Wayne. Party begins at 8 p.m.

Come Monday, April 1, Escapers are invited to chill out and relax at the Chill Spot at the Italian Café, home of Negril's best pizza and the finest house music.

By nightfall, it will be time to bring the curtains down with Negril's favourite all-white beach party, Wet Dreams-Bikini Isles at Sunset On the Beach.
