Hard-hitting lyricist Aidonia and the musical genius Stephen Di Genius teamed up a week ago on their first collaboration. They were said to be vibing in studio when the idea came about.

Stephen Di Genius says, "It has been long overdue. We always knew that we were going to collaborate. People always ask when can they hear a Donia and Genius collaboration, but we were just waiting on the right moment."

"It was a no brainer the rhythm captivated our lyrical space and we just start dropping lines and the rest is history," says Aidonia

The song Ask Dem speaks generally to people that try to demotivate people when they see others striving.

The song will be premiered at 5:30 p.m. today on Shellingz with ZJ Liquid. After which, Stephen Di Genius will release it virally on his Soundcloud page.

Aidonia is currently working on his album to be produced by Di Genius. Most recently, his song Fi Di Jockey, which was produced by Di Genius, has been getting a lot of rotation both locally and internationally.

Stations like Hot 97 NYC, Hot 97 Boston, BBC 1xtra, Slam 101FM and Choice FM have it on constant rotation.

Fans and radio disc jocks have been reaching out from Italy, Trinidad, Zimbabwe and London expressing how much they love the song. The video for Fi Di Jockey is set to be released in April.
