Fiery disc jocks DJ Barge and DJ Damion is a duo who have been creating waves in the dancehall in recent times.

The two are credited as being the vibe behind very popular Container Satdaze series of parties, which has been holding its own on the entertainment calendar after it was started a few years ago. The party is the brainchild of Container Boss, Ian 'Dan Ian' Miles.

"Throughout our years of struggle we finally reached our peak of success last April at Container Satdaze beach party held at Waves Beach in Hellshire. After the session, we were given the name The Uncontainables by popular recording artiste Bounty Killer," Damion 'DJ Damion' Mitchell revealed.

"I was fascinated by the music industry from birth, my father use to do a bit of music in his time himself, so I immediately got involved in this industry even though I didn't pursue it seriously until 2004," the disc jock explained. "Before getting into the job I was inspired by a very good friend of mine, Richard Campbell, aka Little Richie, formally of Swatch International. He now works on Hitz 92 FM."

During his career, DJ Damion "had the pleasure of playing on many tremendous sound systems. "My first experience on a sound system was with a party sound named Cool Love, then I was on to Rising Star international," he reminisced.

He later upgraded to King Tafari sound, owned by Sizzla Kalonji. Little Richie then formed a group where he played on their sound called Rich Squad. He also played for More Money International sound from west Kingston in 2009. While with More Money, his reputation as a juggling maestro was built and in less than a month, he got introduced to Miles.

"My career is now on a high, I now have vast experience in the music industry and I received awards from 2009-2011, and the best is yet to come," he warned. "I am originally from Bay Farm Road near Waterhouse where my dad was living. My dad's best friend, who is my godfather, is the father of popular recording artiste, Suku, of Ward 21. They were also a big inspiration to me also. After moving from Waterhouse, I went to Portmore, then to Southside, Kingston. Now I am living in west Kingston."

Meanwhile, Delroy 'DJ Barge' Burnett, has been in the music business for about four years. "I wanted to become a footballer but my passion for selecting grew over time. I was a MC at a party, the vibes was there and a friend of mine said, 'pull up dah song deh fi mi' and I did. From then on I just found a love for it," he recalled.

The disc jock said he got his first serious play at a party called Dagga Master in 2009. After working wonders on the turn table at the party, he was asked to be a selector for the first sound system he ever played on - City Link disco.

DJ Barge, who is originally from Denham Town, said after he left City Link, he played for another sound system named Coptic and then Linkage International. He met DJ Damion shortly after and the two have been rocking dances together since.

"I first met DJ Damion at a party called Famous Saturdays. I was impressed with his talent, and from then on he became a friend and brother. After having him telling me that I'm ready to take on the road, we then played together at Scream Sundays," he said. "Now we go by the name The Uncontainables, and we are ready and willing to take on the world."
