![]() Aidonia It has been weeks since the birth of Sheldon Lawrence aka Aidonia's first child, but he is still smiling from ear-to-ear. "It was a blessing to watch him make his way into the world and I am so grateful to God that he came into this world very healthy," he said in a release sent to THE Weekend STAR. The deejay is said to have taken time off from studio sessions and videoshoots to spend time and bond with his son, 'King Khalif', as he is affectionately called. Now the deejay is back and balancing work and fatherhood. He recently released the video for Tip Pon Yuh Toe which has already gathered thousands of views. The single has been rotating heavily on radio stations in Jamaica, Europe, the United Kingdom and the Caribbean. In the video, the deejay portrays the character of an African king, clad in the relevant attire. It was shot at James Bond Beach by videographer Michael Birbridge and was directed by the deejay himself. "Tip Pon Yuh Toe is a JOP Production song, produced and written by myself, so I wanted to play the directing role in the video as well. It was fun. This year you can definitely see me directing most of my videos. I've found a niche for directing," the deejay further stated in the release. |
