Star Tell Me Pastor

Illegitimate sister

Dear Pastor,

I have been reading your column for as long as I can remember and I have never ever got so emotional to the point that warranted me responding to that young lady who wrote you about her illegitimate abomination. I mean her sister.

What I read hurt me to the core. Who died and made this young lady and her siblings the perfectionists of the century? How and why should she harbour so much hate against someone who has done her no wrong? This young lady never asked to be born. She is a child that God created and, yet, "Ms Upity" and her band of siblings hate her.

I would recommend that you, sir, publish some responses for them to see and be reminded that God allowed his son to die for us, so why is it so hard for her and her siblings to forgive their father and accept God's gift and embrace love.

R.P., St Catherine

Dear R.P.,

My prayer is that very soon members of the family who have rejected this so-called illegitimate sister will come to realise that they need to ask God to forgive them for the wrong attitude they have shown to their sister, who hasn't done them any wrong.

Pastor
