Up to press time last night, no one was in custody in relation to the shooting death of a teenager in Denbigh, Clarendon, on Sunday.

Dead is 17-year-old Tasheena Lewin of Denbigh in the parish.

Reports from the police are that about 2:15 a.m., Lewin and a relative were at home when armed men gave entry to the premises.

The cops say Lewin and the relative were shot and the gunmen escaped.

Lewin was rushed to the hospital were she was pronounced dead and her relative admitted. Investigations continue.
