Star Tell Me Pastor

Moving too fast

Dear Pastor,

From the year started, my life has been in a mess. And although I am praying, it seems as if my prayers are not being answered. I am 16 and I will be 17 in April. I met a girl in October last year and we were together all day. Getting to know her was wonderful because I found myself falling in love.

In December, she blocked her SIM card for her phone. I didn't know if she did it purposely. During the holiday, I saw her because we are all doing subjects. So we are attending classes. And by attending the classes, we see each other. We talked and kissed before Christmas Eve and we planned to spend the night together. She called and told me that she was unable to make it. I went on Facebook and I saw that she has as her status, single. I asked her about it and she said that she was receiving some calls on a number I gave her and the calls said she should leave me.

Please tell me what to do.

Unhappy Lover

Dear Unhappy Lover,

Concentrate on your school-work. You are moving too fast. You are in too much a hurry to find a girlfriend. And this young woman might have kissed you, but that does not mean that she is really interested in you. She considers you only as a friend. So whatever she has on Facebook is her business.

You wanted to sleep with this girl on Christmas Eve because you believe that having sex with her would have been a wonderful Christmas gift. That didn't happen so you believe that things are not going your way. Sex is on your mind, but please learn to control yourself.

Pastor
