WESTERN BUREAU:

A St James man, who confessed to breaking into a printing office and stealing three computers, was remanded by the Montego Bay Resident Magistrate's Court recently.

Kino Jackson, from Albion Lane, Montego Bay, pleaded guilty to office breaking and larceny and , will be sentenced on February 27. By that time a social enquiry report is to be prepared to help determine his sentence.

Reports are that on January 13, Jackson and other persons broke into the Montego Bay-based office and stole the appliances. Sometime afterward, the police went on an operation for the robbers, and Jackson was pointed out and subsequently arrested and charged.

"Did you take anything out of the place?" Resident Magistrate Sheron Barnes asked Jackson.

"Yes, three computers," Jackson replied.

"Do you know what happened to them?" the magistrate asked.

"The persons that I went with took them. When I asked for them, they didn't say anything to me," said Jackson.

RM Barnes ordered that Jackson's relatives be contacted and brought to court.

"You can do better than what you are doing. You're too intelligent; we need your brain," RM Barnes admonished Jackson as she ordered that he be taken back into custody.
