The police say a teenager has been held in connection with the seizure of a home-made handgun on the Bay Road in Little London, Westmoreland recently.

Reports received from the Little London police are that about 4:30 p.m., the teenager was allegedly involved in a conflict with other youngsters.

It is reported that a gun was reportedly brought into play and the police were summoned.

On their arrival, the teen was accosted and a home-made handgun, along with one round, was seized.

The teen's identity is being withheld pending further investigations.
