Greater Portmore inflicted the first loss of the season on Racing United with a 2-0 win in the seventh round of the LIME Portmore Division Two Football League at the Racing Field last Thursday.

Nickerdo Williams and Jermaine Bailey were on target for Greater Portmore.

The win saw Greater Portmore to 14 points from seven games and they advance to the mid-season final, where they will meet Bridgeport. Bridgeport (14 points) had an easy 2-0 win over Garveymeade .

The mid-season final will be played at the Passagefort field, match time 3 p.m. Racing, the former leader, remained on 12 points and are in fourth place on goal difference.

In other games, Cumberland clipped Silverstone 2-1 to jump to 10 points while a refreshed East Portmore Portals moved to third place on goal difference as they edged Braeton United 1-0.
