Portsmouth Primary stay perfect

Portsmouth Primary's 100 per cent win record was safely intact after a hard-fought 1-0 win over Independence City in a match in the Portmore leg of the LIME-INSPORT Primary Football League at the Portsmouth field last Thursday.

The all-important goal was scored by Patrick Parker during first-half action.

Bridgeport moved to second place with 15 points from seven games in the Portmore Zone after they defeated Gregory Park 3-1. Damion Forbes struck a brace, while there was another goal by Jaheim Stephens.

In the opening game at the venue, Waterford were held 0-0 by Greater Portmore. Waterford are now on 11 points while Greater Portmore inch to 10 points, the same as Ascot Primary.
