Rowe's Strikers and Mister C 'A' will contest the final of the Henkel-sponsored Pattex Cup skittles competition tomorrow after contrasting semi-final wins last Sunday at Bejon's Sports Bar, Hughenden Plaza.

The final will be played tomorrow at Mystix Sports Bar, 78 3/4 Hagley Park Road, starting with the third-place play-off between Eagles Strikers and Eastern All-Stars at 2 p.m.

In the first match, Rowe's Strikers, the reigning Wray & Nephew White Overproof champions, defeated Zone 'B' winners Eastern All-Stars 5-3 to advance while underdogs Mister C 'A' from Spanish Town clipped defending champions and Zone 'A' winners Eagles 5-4.

The second semi-final went down to the wire. With both teams locked at 4-4 going into the 9th and final game, Mister C 'A' rose to the occasion with a narrow win over the home team.

They owed the victory to young Yannick Senior, who kept his composure to beat the more experienced Seymour Bennett 1280-0400, much to the delight of his supporters.

Entries for the upcoming Sistas singles championship will be taken during the course of the day. It will begin on the following Sunday.
