Crystal Harrison, Staff Reporter Several assault charges have been slapped on a man who was cornered on a bus after he was reportedly seen ejaculating on a female passenger's bottom and legs on Molynes Road, St Andrew, yesterday. The incident happened sometime after 7 a.m., on a Jamaica Urban Transit Company's (JUTC) bus that was en route to the Half-Way Tree Transport Centre. THE WEEKEND STAR understands that the female passenger, who boarded the bus along Molynes Road, was alerted sometime later by another passenger in the bus that a man had ejaculated on her. It is reported that the woman, to her amazement, turned to look at her clothes only to realise that she was stained with semen. Information reaching THE WEEKEND STAR is that incident quickly drew the attention of other passengers who started cursing the alleged pervert. The police told our news team that when the bus reached its Half-Way Tree, St Andrew, destination, a group of men who were angry about the matter cornered the accused, and insisted that the driver keep the bus doors closed. Police officers who were on patrol in the Half-Way Tree Transport Centre say they were quickly made aware of the matter and the accused, who was seen with his zipper down, was taken to a nearby holding area at the bus terminus. The police said the 21-year-old woman who was obviously shaken up about the incident was assisted to an office area to wipe off her clothing. THE WEEKEND STAR was also informed by the cops that several JUTC drivers have in the past, complained about the accused man. The 28-year-old man has since been charged with indecent assault, indecent exposure, and assault on female. "All now mi can't believe say it is a real ting dat happen. Mi jus' can't believe, I don't know how him do it," a passer-by who heard about the incident said. Meanwhile, a female vendor who said she managed to get a glimpse of the accused and the woman said, "A di police mi si a walk with her to a likkle office area, so that she could clean up her clothes. Di incident draw a crowd yes, but because a early morning people did busy a go work." |
