Greetings in the name of Jesus. I am a regular reader of your column in the Star. I am writing on the behalf of a friend. She is ashamed to write to you, so she asked me to.

She got married less than a year ago and got entangled with another man. This man got her pregnant. Her husband is working in one of the islands, so she knows it is not her husband's child.

She told the man she wanted money to do an abortion, but he told her that abortion is murder so she should leave her husband and he will take care of her. She is 24 and this is her second child. The first child lives with his father's mother.

Pastor, please, give her your advice.

This careless married woman should tell her husband she was unfaithful to him and, as a result, she is pregnant. He may curse her and tell her that the marriage is over or he may shock her and tell her that he will forgive her and accept the child as his own. So, please, tell her to test the water by informing her husband that she got pregnant by another man.

I do not support abortion on demand, so I cannot encourage her to terminate the pregnancy.
