A .375 Magnum pistol and six .357 rounds of ammunition were seized on the Hellshire main road in St Catherine last night.

Reports from the Portmore police are that about 9:15 p.m., the driver of a motor car was stopped and searched by a team of officers in the area. During the search, the weapon and ammunition were found.

Three men who were occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody.

Investigations continue.
