With dancehall going back to its authentic sound, dancehall artiste Bling Dawg says he will be making his return.

The artiste has been notably absent for some time. This, he says, is linked to other things on which he has been focusing. But with dancehall regaining the sound that he is accustomed to, Bling Dawg says he has returned with a relatively new collaboration with Bounty Killer called Run Out.

"Is a little time people don't really hear from me, but I have a lot in store for 2013. Everything is on the right page now, so I am just focusing on the music," he told THE STAR.

"The business shift back to the one drop and the authentic feel. The beats two years ago were kinda fast, but it is going back to dancehall now, so I am feeling the vibe of the music. You have a whole bunch of good things coming out."

excited

Bling Dawg said he was excited about the collaboration with Bounty Killer as he had been a member of the Alliance for some time.

"I wrote that song about three years now, but I didn't get a chance to record it. Being part of the Alliance for so long and me and Killa neva do a song yet, so I thought we should do this song together," he said.

Although it took some time for them to finally record it, Bling Dawg said Run Out has been doing well.

"Whenever it play, it get tremendous forward," he said, revealing that there were plans to shoot the music video for the song soon.

In addition to the song, Bling Dawg said he recently produced a rhythm called 'Bad Bounce,' featuring Konshens, Bounty Killer, Nitty Kutchie, Esco, and him.

"I keep a limited amount of songs on my production. It is better to have five good songs than 10 that don't make any sense," he said.

In the near future, Bling Dawg said he would also be releasing another rhythm called 'Milk Can'. He said he also collaborated with Shuga recently for a Mary J. Blige cover called You Are.
