Police still investigating nurse's death

The St Mary police say they are still conducting their investigations into the killing of nurse Shellion Pinnock-Lafayette in the parish last Wednesday.

THE STAR understands that several persons have been questioned in relation to the incident, however, no one has been charged.

It is reported that about 10:30 p.m., residents heard explosions and called the police.

Pinnock-Lafayette, 30, of Farm Heights, Port Maria, in the parish, was seen suffering from gunshot wounds in her motor car.

She was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Lafayette, who worked at the Annotto Bay Hospital, died leaving two young children.
