Cornwall College and Wolmer's Boys' will seek double titles in the ISSA/Busta Football finals, which will take place today at three venues across the island. Unbeaten Wolmer's will tackle St Jago in the urban Under-16 (Colts) category at 3 p.m., at Campion College playfield. Earlier, at 1:30 p.m., Wolmer's will go for their second title in consecutive seasons when they take on St George's College in the Under-14 section. The games were originally scheduled for Wednesday of this week, but were postponed because of a waterlogged Constant Spring field. In the rural area competition, Cornwall are in both finals. The Montego Bay team will play St Elizabeth Technical in the Under-14s, and then tackle Manchester High in the Under-16 section for the Galloway Cup trophy. Both games will be played at the STETHS field, starting at 1:30 and 3 p.m., respectively. In another sectional final of the rural competition to be played at Foga Road in May Pen, Clarendon College meet Glenmuir in the Under-16 category, for the Abner Wright trophy, while Vere Technical will go up against Seaforth. The winners of today's games will meet next week to determine the overall rural champions. |
