Jermaine and Jerome Campbell are 12-year-old twins who attend Tarrant High School in St. Andrew.

They reside with their parents, Leslie and Daisy Campbell in White Water Meadows, St. Catherine. They informed The StarLife and Times that they are focused on their school work and in the future they would like to become a psychologist and a bank accountant respectively.

They are not identical, but they do share several things in common. For instance, they are both sports fans; Jermaine likes cricket while his brother likes athletics. Both of them are in the same class at school and they listed the weekends as their favourite time for study.

In respect of who is more vocal, Jermaine explained that this depends on the environment. "Jerome is more talkative at school and I am more talkative out of school," he stated.

Music lovers

The boys are also avid music lovers. Jerome's favourite artiste is Nicki Minaj and he explained that where her songs are concerned he likes all of them. Jermaine, on the other hand enjoys music with a softer touch. He likes Whitney Houston and his favourite song is The Greatest Love of All (I believe the Children are our Future).

However, there is another aspect to Jermaine's love of music as he likes to sing and is regarded in home circles as a budding singer. In fact he revealed to The StarLife and Times that he was down to perform with the Tarrant High School Choir during National Heritage Week.

Just brothers

Like siblings are wont to do, there are quarrels and fights among the brothers. It was revealed that Jerome usually comes out the winner. There was also a war of words between them regarding the matter of friendship.

"Yes, both of us are good friends," submitted Jerome, the fight winner. His brother Jermaine, the first-born with a sheepish smile countered: "I would not put it that way, I would instead say that we are just brothers."

The brothers however pointed out that in general they enjoy a fairly good relationship and that they did most things together. This includes performing household chores like washing the dishes and tidying the house. This claim was later supported by their mother.

The twins also registered their disgust with the crime situation in the country, with Jerome calling for it to end and Jermaine pointing to the need to uphold Christian morals in the society.
