Advoket - File Singer and lawyer Charles 'Advoket' Ganga-Singh has landed another role in a movie. This time it is being produced in Bollywood, Mumbai in India. Advoket has a number of music videos - including his reggae cover of After Tonight - where he showcases his acting skills. He also has a major role in an upcoming movie in the UK - Life Ah Foreign - which is being produced by British-Jamaican reggae artiste Savana. Speaking with president of Blue Note Entertainment, Prashant Kumar, who was instrumental in getting Advoket the role in the movie, he said he is impressed with Advoket's talent and thought that the reggae singer would be good for the upcoming role. The entertainment mogul would not give any details on the upcoming movie, except that it is a traditional family movie, and that Advoket is fit for the role in which the director has in mind. Jamaican artistes Kumar said: "Bollywood wants to take advantage of the talent that Jamaican artistes have. The movie industry here is ever evolving and we need new actors who have a wide range of talents. That is what Advoket brings to us here." Kumar was instrumental in organising Sean Paul's recent tour of India. It is also expected that Sean Paul will have a role in the Blue Note Entertainment movie in which Advoket is drafted. |
